Frye’s Drive-In …

with 3 comments

This is one from the old blog that I posted several years ago.  I had never heard of the place before … this must have been made in the early 1950’s.  Someone had emailed me and said that they believed that this place was located out on Navy Blvd, just before you go over the bridge that takes you onto the Navy Base.  If anyone has any more information on Frye’s Drive-In, please share it with us.  Thanks for looking …

  1. This was originally the White Hut owed by the Frye’s. Located north of Marchelos before crossing the bridge to NAS. My cousin was friends with the Fryes and worked for them for many years. The White Hut had the best hamburgers EVER.

  2. Yes, the Pensacola FB Group says it was there, next to Marchello’s. Then it became White Hut.
