Frank Hardy Made My Photographs Two

Fiesta Parade …

with 6 comments

This photo of the Fiesta Parade interests me because it is a good view of Palafox Street looking south.  You see Muldon Motor Company and next to it was Son Motors and you have the San Carlos off in the distance.  I am not sure of the year, but I would imagine it to be in the 50’s sometime.  The float pictured must have been sponsored by ” Coca-Cola ” since you it on the back of the plane on the after-burner.  One thing you can say about Pensacola is that everyone always turned out for the parades … then and now!  Thanks for looking …

      • Frank,

I am restoring a 1967 Mustang sold new at Muldon Motors. Do you have any other pictures showing this business, or information on it?

      • All I have is what I have posted so far. I do not have anything of just the building itself. You can check with the Pensacola Historical Society in downtown Pensacola. They might have a folder dedicated to just Muldon Motors with photos, ads, etc. Jackie down at PHS is very helpful and knowledgeable, so ask for her and she could tell you what they have. Good luck on your project and thanks for looking … Frank

  2. I don’t remember Cox but my dad, Johnny Hensarling, worked at Muldon Motors in the 50’s. He then moved over to Pensacola Buggy Works. Would love to see a pic of the old P.B.W.
