Clubbs Baseball Team 1957 …
I have quite a few of these negatives from Clubbs Junior High School from back in the 1950’s and I will post more in the future as I clean them up. I have a lot of these type of images showing a few sports teams, the band and several other groups. I cannot believe that so many people see people that they know in these photos and I usually get a pretty good response out of posting them. I was only four when this photo was taken, so obviously no one looks familiar to me. If anyone recognizes any of these athletes, please feel free to comment. I recognize several of the players. The coach on the left is Charlie Cain. He was a great man. He coached us in all sports at Clubbs. I went on to play basketball for Shorty Sneed at PHS, Class of ’59 and then played in college. Charlie taught me the fundamentals. Bill Kreitlein

Thanks for the comment, Bill. I have a good number of negatives from Clubbs, since it was only three blocks up the street from the old studio on 12th Avenue. So these are some that I will work on and post in the future. I also have a lot of negatives from Suter School from over in EPH, but I do not have any from NB Cook which was only two blocks away.
