Shoob’s Camera …
Shoob’s Camera Store … I guess I could Google it and see if it is still around and in business, but I have been busy lately and just have not had the time. If anyone out there has ever heard of it or has ever bought a camera from them, let us hear from you. I hope you noticed that I have changed a few things on this site and my personal blog, Frank Hardy Photo Blog . I still am in the process of changing a few things around here, that I hope are for the better, but more on that later. I still have a lot of images to post and they should keep me busy for years to come, so please check back periodically. That makes sense, since I have a number of photos from Modesto on this site that my father made from back in the 1950’s. He must have passed through Modesto after going through Yosemite, since I have a few photos taken from there. No clue about the photo store, he never mentioned Shoobs when he was alive. He must have just driven by and taken the photo. You would be surprised of how much traffic I get from people goolging ” Modesto ” and being directed to this site. I did not know where Modesto was until I pulled out an atlas and looked it up several years ago. The comments that I receive from people that live in Modesto or are from there are nice and informative … they have been very helpful about answering questions that I have had.
