Mr. Wentworth and Students …
This is Mr. Wentworth talking to several local high school students. I do not recognize the students or the setting. I remember my father remarking several times how Mr. Wentworth would spend time with high school students that would show interest in local history. Notice the dagger or cross on his desk that he used for a paper weight … I can assure you that having something like that on your desk today would be politically incorrect, especially if you were a teacher in the school system in 2013!! That would just be an invitation for a student to pick it up and stab a fellow inmate … I mean student. Thanks for looking and let us hear your comments … Frank

Happy to say I got to meet him AND visit the REAL Wentworth Museum when it was in Ensley. He was a Pensacola Legend.

I remember that place very well, but I cannot remember a lot about Mr. Wentworth since I was only in elementary school back then. Thanks for the comment Bill … keep in touch … Frank
