Southern Bell Class for Installers …
Johnson, just because I let you smoke in class does not mean that I am going to let you call out front to Darleen and get her to run down to the corner and get you a six-pack of beer!!! I gotta draw the line somewhere!
These must have been the good old days … smoking in class… whatever else …
As usual, all comments are appreciated and thanks for looking … and thanks for putting up with my attempt at humor … Frank
I’m almost 68 years old but I recognize 2 or 3 of these employees from the early to mid fifties, sadly they are all deceased but I will enjoy sharing these pictures with the few real old timers that are left……thank you for publishing them, its been a real trip back to simpler times where we only thought we had it tough….

Thanks …I try to add a liitle humor to the captions, since I know nothing about anything going on in the photo…just an innocent comment and I try not to sound too stupid either. I know what you mean when you said simpler times and thinking we had it rough back then. Please check back later … I have more Southern Bell photos to post … Frank

The gentleman on the right in the stripped shirt was my great uncle, Drew Kent, who worked for Southern Bell for over 35 years. Ann (Fulghum) Hall
