This photo of a group of beauty contestants was taken inside the ballroom of the old Casino on Pensacola Beach in the 1950’s.  I can remember the Casino fairly well, but I have only run across one exterior photo.  I do not know who any of these ladies are or what beauty contest it is … could be one sponsored by the Jaycees.  I have run across several negative envelopes that have  ” Jaycee Beauty Contestants ” written on them, but there are no names of the girls in the negatives.  As usual, all comments are appreciated and thanks for looking …

  1. Don’t know anything about the lovely ladies shown here, but every time I make it back to Pensacola and go out to Pensacola Beach, I sure do miss the old casino.
