Frank Hardy Made My Photographs Two

Twelfth Avenue Oak Trees …

with 2 comments

My father made a series of photographs of these trees for one of the Baars family members back in the 1980’s.  These trees were planted back in the early 1900’s because they were the entrance way to the Baars Estate that was somewhere at the end of 12th Avenue on the Bayou.  Not sure exactly where on Bayou Texar the home was located, maybe someone can enlighten us with the info.  If I do not hear from anyone, I will go down to the Pensacola Historical Society and so some research.  My father had sold any number of these prints through the years and I am surprised that I have not sold that many of them.  As usual, all of these images are for sale … contact me with any questions you might have about purchasing any of these images.  Thanks for looking …

  1. Frank, everyone in our family bought one from your Dad, I have a Pensacola shrine in my home in California. That picture is in the center.

    • I went to school with a Freddie Flack … your brother? If so, your mother used to come by and say hello when she was in the neighborhood. I remember making a family photograph of the Flack family at one time … Frank
