Brooks Thornton Florist …
This florist was on the corner of 12th Avenue and Cervantes Street. Another florist is now in it’s place and I believe the green house is still in use. The tree is long gone, but I can remember it being decorated for Christmas as a kid. We lived in a garage apartment about two blocks away on Cervantes. We lived there for 5 or 6 years until we moved to Cordova Park. In fact, the garage apartment is still there on Cervantes between 13th and 14th Avenue.
